Large La Grange shield in the best museum quality. Very large, early and old example in a good condition. From the Kimberleys in Western Australia. Half of the front of the shield is decorated with exquisitely cut grooved lines. The back has a beautiful, outstanding, traditional, tight, lockable key design and an excellent raised handle. The surface has a deep, rich, dark patina from age.
