AMERICAN BENNINGTON ATTRIBUTED FLINT ENAMEL ROCKINGHAM-GLAZE POTTERY BOOK FLASK, mottled brown with dark blue, approximately two-quart capacity, having "DEPARTED / SPIRITS" stamped on spine. Unmarked. Probably Lyman Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT. 1849-1858. 8" H, 5 7/8" W.
Undamaged with some light scattered scratches and wear spots including back spine edge and middle front cover. Having some manufacturing flaws, including three stilt marks to bottom, as made.
