A Group of Four Japanese Woodblock Prints

Edo period (1615-1868), woodblock prints, ink and colors on paper, includes Act 4 from the Chushingura series by Utagawa Kunisada II (1823-1880) (fading; some wormholes), a print of Buddhist deity Fudo Myoo and Koya Daishi by unknown artist (toning; some small areas of light staining and foxing), a warrior battle print (fading to color and light toning), and a print by Toyokuni I (1769-1825) of the house wife Okaru being carried in a sedan chair inspired by the kabuki play based on Chushingura (fading to color; some surface rubbing and wear; some light areas of staining), all professionally framed with mats; not examined outside of the frame.
