Unique Chevrolet Bel Air 1956 original top condition 1st Owner. Original - Not Restored - Rust-free - Matching Numbers Yes, that’s right, a Chevrolet Bel Air from 1956 delivered new in the Netherlands, 1st Owner, from Dutch Chevrolet dealer Hogguer in Hilversum, early 1957. Year of manufacture 1956, 1st Registration: 29 March 1957 In original, rust-free, not restored, top-notch condition. No repairs or welding of the body. This Bel Air is a unique find with complete history. We managed to buy this beautiful specimen from the 1st owner. The original owner stored the Bel Air in the early 80s to preserve it, this was done successfully! This Bel Air has virtually all of the options that were available at the time including a sliding roof, radio, heater, etcetera, which is very rare. The former owner was fairly wealthy, we presume he used to have a high-ranking position at the government. This unique Bel Air has been stored dry and heated for the last 40 years, well preserved, with the wheels off the ground. 235 Ci 3. 8 Blue Flame 6-cylinder 140 HP with Automatic Transmission; drives great! We have awakened this exceptionally beautiful Bel Air from its hibernation: Renewed as a precaution: Brakes, Wheel brake cylinders, Radiator, Stove radiator, Water pump, Thermostat, Belts, Tank, Spark plugs and Cables, Fluids replaced, Carburettor overhauled. This Bel Air is fully documented, all lubrication services are demonstrable up to the current odometer reading, original keys, all booklets, covers for the auxiliary lights, battery charger, coconut mats, even newspapers from 1957 and 1958 including a RAI Special. The interior and dashboard are in an immaculate, original condition - which will make you smile! Even the BF Goodrich tyres are original and free from drought tears. Executed in kilometres. Taking into account its history, lubrication cards and condition we expect this to be the Bel Air’s mileage to be original! The chrome has some patina on the front bumper at the left, otherwise there are no excessive traces of wear! We advise you to have a look at the car before making an offer in order to avoid disappointment afterwards, appointments can be made via Catawiki. Can be viewed in Giessen, the Netherlands. Transport is possible at a competitive price throughout Europe and to a large part of the U. S. - at the buyer’s expense.
