Austin - Mini - 1989

An original 1989 Austin Mini 1000. This Mini has been converted into a small racing monster. Equipped with a 1275GT block, overhauled gearbox, stage 1 kit, full thick stainless steel exhaust, Hi-low system all around, adjustable suspension all around, weighted steering rods etc, Corbeau bucket seats with OMP 4-point seatbelts, Safety Devices roll cage, customised dashboard, Mountey steering wheel, aluminium quick change valve cover, steel flip-front! , 12-inch Minilite wheels with good tyres, MK1 grille with “moustache”, torpedo mirrors, etc. The body is very hard, the bottom is virtually unwelded, some welding left and right near the feet. The rear subframe is new, the rear hi-low system has been overhauled. One small hole in the left sill and the left door needs work, but a very solid extra door is included. The flip front was not professionally sprayed. The Mini drives, it has a new battery, but has been standing still for several years. The clutch and brakes work. It has a 40 mm Weber carburettor (Mangoletsi performance) including manifold, the bulkhead has already been adapted to this! The full flip-front can be removed using 2 pins, the electrics can be disconnected with 1 central plug.
