A vintage, possibly antique, silver enameled compact. This piece was once used for storing makeup. Precise hand painted, enamel, and hand etched designs along the from. The underside underside is completely covered in hand etched designs that include floral motifs. The colors of the piece are primarily cobalt blue and silver. The central painted scene depicts two women and a bard in a nature scene. The bard plays an instrument that resembles an accordion. Sheep stand adjacent to one woman. The piece has hinge hardware. Interior is silver. Interior mirrored surfaces in good condition, mild scratches on one mirrored surface. Make was once stored on the base mirrored surface. Some residual make on the interior.
