A Large Late 19th Century Silk Gauze and Machine Lace Fan, the leaf painted with tiny blue flowers leaves, and larger white flowers, the lace designed with flowers. Mounted onto good white mother-of-pearl. With a cream card fan box, the inner lid with a pink label for "Edwin Pass and Son, Perfumers and Hair Dressers, Edinburgh. Dealers in Fans and fancy Goods". Guard length approx. 9.75 inches or 25cm.

. One split to the gauze to the right side, the same to the left, and the leaf is in need of reattachment to the guard on the right.
