Central Asia, India, ca. 19th century CE. A fragment of a cast bronze sculpture that once depicted the Buddha seated on a tiered throne. An attendant, still present, peeks out from one side of the throne. The remains of gilding are still present on the surface of the piece. Size: 2.2" W x 2.45" H (5.6 cm x 6.2 cm)
