Condition report:
Oil on canvas which has been lined onto a coarse weave canvas support. The canvas tension is poor, the painting is slack with undulations. Old tears and damages in the canvas have been repaired through lining, however, there are more recent punctures to the canvas with associated paint loss. At the upper left corner is an areas of flaking with scattered losses. In other areas the paint layer has worn down to the canvas. There is retouching across the surface covering old damages. The varnish is slightly yellowed, there are scuffs and scratches across the surface and some white accretions. The frame is in a good condition overall.
