A rather rare specially designed for keep food worm dish / muffin dish in strong Art Deco manner in plain finish , round shape surrounding hexagonal edges with reticulated gadrooned decoration, comprised from three pieces: - an outer main dish that can be filled with hoot water for keeping food worm due to heat transfer, - internal round dish that top the first dish where food is placed - a domed lid that reduce heat loose and keep food wormer for longer Can also be use as muffin dish All three pieces are fully sterling silver hallmarked as: - passant lyon for purity mark sterling silver 925/1000 - crown as Sheffield assays town mark - letter o for year date Sheffield 1931 - letter GH as sponsor/ makers mark of Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson) .
