The forged iron cylindrical pen box with lotus-bud finials at either end, with elaborate scrolling foliage all-over incised decoration. The inkpot of cast bronze with inlaid silver decoration of bats and characters against a diaper ground.
The box 37cm long, the pot 8.5cm high, 9.5cm diameter

Condition: The pen box with old wear and minor remnant gilding. The pot with minor dents, oxidation in parts, and small losses to the silver inlay.
