A lovely group of Hellenistic core glass rods, Eastern Mediterranean, c. 5th - 2nd Century BC, in colorful strips for making into vessels, jewelry or beads. Rarely encountered and quite attractive with two to three colors on each rod. Lengths from 2 to 6.4 cm. Each with light deposits. Ex collection of John J. Slocum, Rhode Island.
