With slightly curved fullered blade (scattered light pitting) double-edged towards the point and etched with a panel of diagonal bands on one side of the forte, reeded hilt comprising downbent shell-guard, lobed rear quillon, knuckle-guard scrolled at the top and hooked into the gadrooned pommel-cap with button, and natural staghorn grip, in its wood-lined black leather scabbard (minor damage) with silver linear engraved locket and chape, the former with frog-button and ring for suspension
