This desk was from the collection of Pamela Hedley, who worked in the Eames office from 1963-1968.
Size: 43" x 65.5" x 32"; (109 x 166 x 81 cm)
Condition: Fair original condition. Many scattered scuffs, dents, and losses to painted area. Wood roll-top with scuffs and scratches to wood, light to moderate sun fading, and apparent moisture staining to front. Chrome base with pocking. Significant crack to left foot of desk, though the piece remains stable. The desk features a cord that leads to an internal outlet (to plug in a phone or a desk lamp), but as per our conditions of sale, all electrical items are sold for decorative purposes only, and are not guaranteed to be functioning. Drawers are somewhat sticky, but function as intended, and roll-top functions smoothly. There is a locking mechanism for the rolltop, but no key was provided.
