A large Roman pale blue-green glass bottle, c. 3rd - 4th Century AD, the body bell-shaped with lightly indented base, the short tubular neck with rounded ridge just below the vertical rim, used for fastening the stopper to seal in the contents. H: 7 1/2 in (19 cm). A lovely example with light iridescence and scattered deposits. Ex German private antiquities collection.
