Beautiful fragment of Flemish tapestry, Teniers model, early 18th century, in wool and silk, measuring 251 x 197 cm, entitled ‘La vieillesse’ (Old Age) , as can be read on the tapestry. The tapestry represents a beautiful scene of wool spinning in a courtyard in front of a house, two elderly women participate in the work with an old man and a boy accompanied by two hunting dogs. Natural landscape and house in the background. With a floral border, rich in leaves that run all around the tapestry, alternating ribbons and flowers. State of preservation: the tapestry has some restorations in the silk and the contours of the figures, the border has been pressed. It has just been cleaned and is ready to be hung. On the back is lined with cotton canvas. Please look carefully at the pictures that are an integral part of the description.
