Crystal Empire vase in ormolu mount - Crystal, Gilded bronze - Circa 1860

Exceptionally beautiful antique crystal vase encased in a richly decorated gilded bronze frame from the 2nd period Empire circa 1860. Has beautiful decorations all around from classical antiquity in ormolu. Comes from the private collection of an antique dealer of which we had all the pieces in our possession. It took him 20 years to collect them. This vase or jug is particularly rare. We haven't been able to trace a second copy yet. In perfect condition. No chips, cracks or other damage. Stands slightly sloping to one side but hardly disturbing. The dimensions are 26 cm high x 14 cm wide x 6 cm deep. The vase will be shipped to you quickly and very well after the auction.
