This was the very first James Bond film, and paved the way for a hugely successful series of films, which continues today. This film was produced by Eon Productions and directed by Terence Young, starring Sean Connery and Ursula Andress. It was based on the 1958 novel of the same name by Ian Fleming. Although made on a low budget, this film established many themes that are iconic and synonymous with Bond films.
