Square form with lustre glaze features an interior scene with an winged figure, or angel, on horseback extending a branch to a monarch, who is also on horseback all within an interior featuring numerous other figures, perhaps advisors, contained within a border of calligraphy; most likely from the Shahnameh. Qajar Dynasty, 1789-1925. Glued repairs, crazing evident. 14 1/2 x 14" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
