Meiji period, late 19th/early 20th century
All on deep midnight blue ground, comprising: Two ovoid vases with silver wire, the first with iris, wisteria and swallows, underside with stamped maker's mark "yama/zan"; the second with flowering prunus, asters and sparrows; the third of squared vasiform, very finely-decorated in silver wire with maple and flowering cherry, sparrows in gold wire.
