A very nice Chinesco Type C seated male, West Mexico, c. 100 BC - AD 200, wearing a domed headdress and armband, his arms crossed over his knees. In excellent condition with red & black painted details over creme slip. H: 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm). Lovely mottled surface deposits. Ex Southern California private collection acquired in 1970's & 1980's.
