Roman Agate, Carnelian, & Shell Necklace
Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A collection of ancient Roman white agate (14), rock crystal (6), carnelian (20), and shell beads, on modern stringing with a modern clasp. The beautiful ancient beads complement each other well, and were likely to have been worn in a similar arrangement in the past. Length of strand: 25" L (63.5 cm)
