Bearing the monogram of Frederick William II with the Prussian crown flanked by two wild men. With four openings for the seal attachments, containing a seal with the large Prussian state coat of arms. Diameter 14 cm.
Unmarked, ca. 1786.
Frederick William II succeeded his uncle Frederick II as heir to the Prussian throne in 1786. This seal box was probably used to hold the seal attached to a patent of nobility.
