Lion-Form Tin Chocolate Mold, 19th Century
Lion-form tin chocolate mold dating to the 19th century. Mold is constructed of thin steel in two parts converging in the center of the figure. The mold has two points of alignment on both forms and on either side of the lion figure. Mold also bears the makers mark of a mythical aquatic beast.
Dimensions are: 9 1/2 in (24.1 cm) wide X 7 3/4 in (19.7 cm) tall X 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm) deep; weight: 400 grams. All measurements are approximate.
