Late 19th - Early 20th c. Louis XV Style Small Stand, bold shaped hinged top with serpentine front, frieze with central panel depicting a painted putti, top and sides decorated with floral marquetry, with ornate ormolu trim, attributed to the Paris shop of Francois Linke (1855-1946), bearing the later label of S. & H. Jewell, Holborn (a London cabinet maker, restorer and antique retailer), 28 1/2" high, 16 1/2" x 14". Shrinkage cracks to side panels, alligatoring to painted panel.
