ANTIQUE ORNATE LONGINES MEN'S POCKET WATCH
The watch has a screw off glass cover to access the front. It appears to have a second seam to screw off the back. It is a mechanical wind, not battery powered. It does work.
This Longines pocket watch has very ornate pin hands in a rose gold wash.
The late 1800s printed "LONGINES" and around 1900 -1910 they used cursive writing of "Longines".
Generally, the same goes for the numbers, earlier models used Roman numerals and then later they made regular numbers.
This particular watch has:
Low shoulders around the winding mechanism
Roman Numerals
Printed "LONGINES"
Intricate ornate pin hands with the extra tiny little leaf design in the longest hand.
Screw off glass cover
Mechanical wind
Watch still runs, but watch must be wound to run
Longines is based in Saint-Imier, Switzerland since 1832.
