Condition: very good to excellent. Wide margins. A small tear in the centrefold at the top and bottom. Small pieces of paint missing on the bottom right. Centrefold is as published. Verso: blank. Two maps on one page. Top map shows the western part of Mexico. The bottom map shows the Greater Antilles: Cuba, Hispaniolaen also include the Bahamas and Jamaica. Both maps are titled in a scroll frame. The top map has a nice scroll frame cartouche. Hand-coloured copper engraving, published in Antwerp by Chr. Plantijn in 'Theatrum orbis terrarum : opus nunc denuo ab ipso auctore recognitum, multisquè locis castigatum, & quamplurimis novis tabulis atquè commentarijs auctum.
