A Russian silver centrepiece with bowl of iridizing glass, possibly Lötz, the stem richly engraved with stylized design and beading, circular spreading base raised on three stair-shaped supports. The base engraved with three cartouches, respectively engraved with monogram JAR, date 1864–1889 25 Août and Roman numerals XXV. N.D. Yanichkin, assayer Ivan Vonifatievich Yevstigneiev 1889, St. Petersburg town mark, 84 standard. H. 33.5 cm.
