Two wooden temple panels from the Ratanakosin period, early 20th century. Each temple panel consists of 2 pieces (please see detailed photos) . Panels are inlaid with glass and mica. A few pieces have disappeared over time. Panels with elegant floral patterns, the wheel of learning, containing a lotus flower, in the centre. A lotus bud below the wheel. The lotus is the Buddhist symbol of purity and clarity. Condition: fairly good, considering its age. Dimensions per panel: 60 cm x max. 36 cm. From an old Dutch collection prior to 1940.
