Rabbi Yoav Adler, was a son of Rabbi Shalom Adler, Rabbi of Seredna and author of Rav Shalom, of a distinguished Hungarian rabbinical family. He was a disciple of Rabbi Yehuda Grunwald of Satmar and a son-in-law of Rabbi David Leib Saltzer Rabbi of Humenne. Rabbi of Dobra, and Hanusfolva (Hanshovitz), where he headed a Yeshiva with some 100 students.
