Chinese, Ming Dynasty. The horse standing foursquare with a support post joining the rectangular base with the horse's chest. Flowing mane swept back over the ears continuing as two comma form rows down the neck. Green glaze decoration in areas. Approx.: h.10.5" w. 10" d. 3.75". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Morton & Kathleen Sachs of Louisville, Kentucky, purchased as a group of two for $1,180 from TK Asian Antiquities (Williamsburg, VA) in 2000 or 2001.
