An Egyptian terracotta ushabti with Hieratic inscription, Late New Kingdom, 19th - 20th Dynasty, c. 1292 - 1075 BC, mummiform, wearing tripartite wig, arms folded at chest, wrists crossed. The figure with black wig and red pigment on the face and chest, creme pigment or dressing throughout. Across the midsection, from left to right, is a Hieratic inscription in black. H: 6 1/2 in (17 cm). Quite an unusual example. Ex Nomis Antiquites.
