SPLENDID TABLE IN WALNUT WITH SPECIMEN MARBLE TOP, ROME 19TH CENTURY

round top in white marble with circle of various Roman marbles, centered by inlay of a birdie on branch. Triple reserve to the edge. Leaning on cup top, with fluted reserve in giltwood, leafy baluster leg on triangular base with gilded wood sculptures of musician children on back of mythological animals. Feet as small turtles.

Measures cm. 86 x 91.

piano circolare in marmo bianco con raggiera con marmi vari romani, centrata da intarsio a figura di uccellino su ramo. Tripla riserva al bordo. Marmo poggiante su piano a coppa, con riserva baccellata in legno dorato. Gamba a balaustro fogliato, poggiante su base triangolare con sculture in legno dorato di putti musicanti a cavallo di animali mitologici. Piedi a piccole tartarughe.
