He shares his opinion that this is the pendant for a signed work listed on the RKD database. He goes on to state that "The composition is similar, but the execution of the sculpted vase is better in your painting, perhaps by Peter Ykens (1648-1695/96), with whom Verbruggen collaborated more often, in which case it originated between 1679 and 1696.
