Herbert Hoover
TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, November 30, 1932. Shortly after his lopsided defeat in the 1932 presidential election, Hoover writes to Earle S. Kinsley of the Republican National Committee, in full: "I wish to convey to you my appreciation of your effective leadership in the campaign,—a campaign against great odds.
