THREE CHINESE CARVED GILTWOOD & LAQUERED PANELS

A grouping of three Chinese carved giltwood and lacquered panels. The largest depicting warriors mounted on horses enveloped by a pagoda, the middle panel features monks holding scrolls and the smallest panel has ornate depth consisting of vases and floral motifs. Approx. of the largest, h. 26", w. 18", d. 3", medium 13", w. 12", d. 1.75", smallest 9.5", w. 8.5", d. 2.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Cecil S. Whitehead, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition Report: Smallest panel has crack/separation running from top of frame to base. All panels with scuffing and slight loss to black and gilt lacquer.
