N.B.Grandma Moses's son, Forrest, was also a farmer who turned to painting in mid-life, emulating his mother's style and spirit. With his life spanning three-quarters of the 20th century, Forrest Moses was particularly aware of tremendous technological advances in farming and transportation, and through his art he found pleasure in recapturing many practices lost in modern times.
