Rare obelisk-shaped pedestal in tobacco leaf of the famous Italian interior designer Giovanni Patrini (1931-1993) . Giovanni Patrini - Tobacco Company. The Milanese company worked exclusively with Patrini on these rare pieces of wonderfully large tobacco leaves. Coated with a transparent layer. which is in original condition (some fragments and cracks, see pictures) . The large tobacco leaves have become the main element of several collections; it is during the start-up phase that Gabriella Fulvi, co-founder and managing director of the company, meets Giovanni Patrini, a refined and extravagant interior designer who was already very well known in Italy, France and the United States. Several collections and synergies with other important brands in the home and fashion markets born during the long collaboration between the company and Giovanni Patrini, which will end only because of its premature death in 1993.
