Cupboard, Sideboard - Ottoman or Syrian - Glass, Wood, Bone - Early 20th century

Double-body sideboard attributable to the circle of Carlo Bugatti, both in shape, and in the precise bone inlay, for the surprisingly detailed carving and the very high quality of the general execution. Made of fine wood, completely inlaid with bone, in excellent condition, both in wood and inlays. The glasses of the upper body were, in an unspecified time, internally covered by a tempera tending to yellow. The round wooden panels of the doors are hand-decorated in colored tempera. Very slight deficiencies of some bone inlays, common in this type of object, and very small wooden parts, in insignificant quantities.
