The cylindrical body carved in low relief with stylised phoenix motifs, the spout forming the head of the bird, flanked with a loop handle carved in openwork with a chilong dragon, all raised on a tall foot, the later green jade lid mounted with silver fittings and topped with a glass finial. 16cm (6 1/4in) high (2).
