A Georgian mahogany bracket clock, circa 18th C., by Charles Vaughan, London, with a fusée bell-strike movement and engraved brass backplate. The 9 inch silvered arch-top dial is signed "Chas Vaughan / London". Mahogany case has a molded skirt and four brass feet. Lacking second hand. Has pendulum but no key. 17in to top of handle x 11in wide x 7-3/4in deep.
Condition Report: Some overall veneer cracking. Lacking screw to top of keyhole on door with veneer loss to side of escutcheon. Also veneer loss to side of door. Some veneer loss to back of case. Works appear to be in good condition but not tested.
