Copper Whale & Directional Weather Vane
American, early to mid 20th century. A patinated surface copper weather vane whale with applied fins, supported by a cast iron pole and base with four wind directionals. Apparently unmarked. Approx: h. 43", (whale) w. 24.5", (base) d. 9.75".
Condition Report: Small dents to whale on the tail, front of head and upper seams. Heavy rust and oxidation present commensurate with age and weather exposure.
