Provenance: When the West Yorkshire Regiment left Poona where they had been based, this bowl was presented to the Officers Mess by their local victuals supplier who was affectionately known as "Oily Poona Fat Man", as recorded by The Late Major Harry Spencer, Regimental Secretary to the West Yorkshire Regiment.
