20th century, the circular base supporting three putti around the standard, the upper portion with rope-twist carving alternating with acanthus leaves.

Provenance: The Estate of Donald J. Hurst, Waterloo, Iowa.
Condition Report: The spherical top of the pedestal is 1/2" thick and detachable. There is a large repaired crack that comprises ~1/4" of it. All of the putti legs are intact. There are natural fissures and veining in the marble, one of which has opened up below the knee into a faint hairline crack. The bottom of the base has scattered nicks and chips. There is an accretion (drop of glue) to one putto toe. The diameter of the putti base is 14".
