LARGE CHINESE CARVED POLYCHROME FIGURE OF QUANYIN.
Late Ming to early Qing Dynasty. This impressive supposed temple work of the figure of Quanyin standing on rockwork, a large dragon wrapping around her feet within large waves. Polychrome decorated overall, which is now well-weathered and worn. Statue carved in deep relief. Size: 39" T. x 18" W. Condition: With small chip off of figure's left shoulder on her robe, otherwise structurally intact. Old wear and weathering to the bottom edges of the rockwork. The painted surfaces are dry and weathered leaving only remnants of the original surface. Good overall.This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Good). Dimensions: 40 - 1/2" x 19" x 9".
