stamped J.H.RIESENER twice on the upper rear legs and D.L.ANCELLET once underneath
Denis-Louis Ancellet (1735-1823), maître in 1766
Jean-Henri Riesener (1734-1806), maître in 1768
height 30 ½ in.; width 33 ¾ in.; depth 23 ¼ in.
77.5 cm; 85.7 cm; 59.1 cm

Condition Report:
In excellent conserved condition and ready to place, with only minor scratches, nicks and small age cracks. Ratchet mechanism in good working order. Writing surface support and pierced cross braces later. Colour is slightly less red than in catalogue photograph. Castors, hinges and leather writing surfaces replaced.
