Identified by the alms bowl and book in his hands, arhat Pindola Bharadvaja seated at upper left and Panthaka at lower right, holding a book in his right hand and his left in vitarka mudra, the surrounding landcape illustrates important moments in their lives, with Tibetan inscriptions in gold. Gouache and gold on cloth. Brocade mounting. Wear, losses of pigments.
