Ptolemy Elrington, British, 1965, Salmon, plastic hub caps and spare car parts, approximately 107cm long Note: Ptolemy Elrington is a Brighton based artist who studied art and design at Bradford and Ilkley Community College in the mid-eighties, and has previously worked in theatre set design and construction. His ‘Hubcap Creatures’ are sculptures of natural forms made from found and recycled materials, usually bearing scratches and abrasions from their previous life.
