Comprising a Post-Classic Maya bowl (circa 600-900 CE) centering a figure, a Maya bowl with carved rim, a Quimbaya seated slab figure (circa 800-1300 CE), a modern Colima-style dog effigy figure by Guillermo Rios Alcala, a possible Nayarit Chinesco seated figure, a tripod rattle bowl, miniature effigy vessel, and a miniature figural vessel, 9 pieces
Largest: 2.5" H x 12" Dia.; smallest: 1.5" H x 2.5" Dia.
Provenance: The Estate of Oscar and Barbara Leidenfrost

Other Notes: Proceeds to benefit non-profit organizations and educational institutions.

The Guillermo Rios Alcala dog was exhibited: Washington D.C., National Museum of the American Indian, "Great Masters of Mexican Folk Art from the Collection of Fomento Cultural Banamex," March 2003.

Condition Report: Each overall fair to good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, inherent firing flaws, and weathering commensurate with age and use. Each with scattered chips and small losses. The Mayan bowl with restoration to two cracks running through the center. The slab figure with restorations throughout. The dog with later-added carved initials to one foot. Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request.
