United States model 1860 presentation staff & field sword measuring 36.75" (blade 30.5"). Sword features a marked Clauberg, Solingen blade that exhibits darkening and graying. Sword exhibits painted rayskin grip (cracked) with lacquering to scabbard and mounts that exhibits yellowing and scratching. Grip exhibits folding clamshell grip with engraved presentation "Presented to Capt. A. Jenkinson by the O.M.I.P. Social Club of Co. F 5th Regt. NGSNJ Nov 8, 1875". Provenance: Eugene T.
